Selling real estate can be a challenging process regardless of if you’re upgrading or right sizing. My goal as your listing agent is to not only represent you in the transaction process, but to make this potentially difficult time for you and your family as easy as I can.
On this page I touch upon a couple of easy to digest tips on how you can make your selling process a little easier.
- Consider hiring a home inspector. Sellers can use home inspectors, too! Consider hiring a home inspector to go through your property. A home inspector will draw up a detailed report that will allow you to address small issues before your property goes onto the market.
- Prepare your property. While it’s not always a good idea to go through major home renovation projects that don’t add significant square footage, it’s a good idea to do a thorough cleaning of your property, get some serious lawn work done or make some relatively minor cosmetic changes. If you don’t have the time, you can always hire professionals to take some of the burden off of you.
- I’m your resource! Utilize me! Utilize me in your real estate journey! When you work with me in the buying or selling process I will always make myself available to you. If you have any questions during the selling process, consider me at your disposal. I’m here to help!
- Maintaining your property. After your property is listed, you may have public or broker open houses and showings. Because of this it is important to ensure that your home is always ready to go. This may involve a little more work tidying up or hiring a house cleaning service to maintain your home in a pristine condition.
